The South Florida Water Management District and the US Army Corps of Engineers:
October 2005 – June 2012
Wrote and edited financial and technical documentation for the District and its partner, the US Army Corps of Engineers. The District’s $1+ billion Fiscal Year 2007 Budget Document earned two awards from the Government Finance Officers Association. Responsibilities included interviewing subject matter experts, coordinating contributions from stakeholders across the organization, rewriting sections written by different authors for one voice, editorial review and proofreading, and applying Chicago Style and South Florida Water Management District Style.

Cross Country Healthcare, The Sports Authority, KSC Studio: October 2002 – 2004
Wrote content for a nursing career portal (NurseVillage.com) for Cross Country TravCorps (now Cross Country Healthcare); assisted the in-house creative team at The Sports Authority as a copy editor for its weekly newspaper advertising inserts; and worked as a proofreader on an as-needed basis for a direct mail catalog.
